1. The PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL – SOCCSKSARGEN REGION CAMPUS, through the NATIONAL EXPENDITURE PROGRAM OF CY 2019 intends to apply the sum of THREE MILLION PESOS Only (P 3,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for theContract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the SITE DEVELOPMENT, PHASE 3 with Contract No. SRC INFRA 2019-002. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL – SOCCSKSARGEN REGION CAMPUS now invites bid for the SITE DEVELOPMENT, PHASE 3. Completion of the Works is required for 90 calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract SIMILAR TO THEPROJECT. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instruction to Bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.

Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least seventy-five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL – SOCCSKSARGEN REGION CAMPUS and inspect and purchase the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M (Monday- Friday).

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on December 8, 2018 until January 3, 2019 from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos & 00/100 (P 5,000.00)

It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.

6. The PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL – SOCCSKSARGEN REGION CAMPUS will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on December 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at PSHS-SRC in Brgy. Paraiso, Koronadal City, which shall be open to prospective bidders.

7. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before January 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM

at PSHS-SRC in Brgy. Paraiso, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptableforms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18

8. Bid Opening shall be on January 3, 2019 at 11:01 AM at Philippine Science High School – SOCCSKSARGEN Region Campus. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

9. The PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL – SOCCSKSARGEN REGION CAMPUS reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.

Three grade 12 scholars of Philippine Science High School-SOCCSKSARGEN Region Campus emerged as top scorers during the Regional Chemistry Olympiad held at Ateneo de  Davao University on November 24, 2018.

After garnering all the top three spots, Kaye Angelli Catipay, Carl Angelo Marcelo, and Daniel Angelo Mirador, will advance to the National level as the official representatives of Region XII.

During the simultaneous regional elimination, the participants answered a 60-item written exam which covers topics in Atomic theory, Molecular Geometry, and Nuclear Chemistry. Ms. Luv Gaburno, official coach,  chaperoned the SRC players.
