Grades 7 to 12 students were re-oriented on the updates on R.A. 11313 or the Bawal Bastos Law. This is aimed at bringing up students to be more responsive to the many cases of gender-based violence happening in various platforms – workplace, educational institutions and training facilities.
The students were able to learn through the invited resource speaker S/Sgt. Mercy Dema-ala, J.D. the many facets of the law and some insights on the realities of gender-based violence thru a run-thru of common case reports of this kinds of crimes reported to the Women and Children’s Desk of the South Cotabato Provincial Police Office.
